A VERY informative news story was published in this newspaper last Friday (Jan 29) about the Human Papilloma Virus (HPV) vaccine to prevent young girls from the age of 9-13 years from getting HPV infection and cervical cancer in their later years. Dr Edward Waramin has been very professional in the way the information has been disseminated to all the parents of every young girl in this country to act immediately to prevent this monstrous infection that is killing more women around the world in a very painful way. As a parent seeing our daughters growing up, I am most grateful for Dr Waramin’s information. My question to the good doctor  is: “Can girls older than 13 years be vaccinated against HPV infection?” Thank you doctor, all parents will make this our number one priority if we have not started yet.
