Hunters losing aerial battles

Letters

THE Hunters coach is always keeping a blind eye to the short, high kicks from opposing teams.
Opposing teams are taking advantages of the fact that the Hunters lack height advantage and therefore are weak in aerial battles.
It’s time the coach learns from this and devises ways to counterattack.
This weekend the Hunters play the Ipswich Jets who are known for short, high kicks.
The Jets have been doing that since last year and I do not see any improvement from the Hunters players.
Even last weekend’s game against the Central Queensland Capras featured the same short, high kicks in which the Hunters failed to win possession because the players were too short.
In such cases, the Hunters can simply give away games so the coach should be better prepared now for this weekend’s game against the Jets as they are known for this short, high kicks, which is one of the Hunters’ weakness.
