Hunters share thoughts on violence

Sports

The SP Hunters spent their day off yesterday at the National Library to attend the Voice Against Violence (VAV) workshop.
The workshop was run by NRL PNG’s national programme coordinator Rutha Omenefa and media and communications officer Oliver Nombri.
VAV is an initiative of the NRL in partnership with the United States Embassy and the Family Sexual Violence Action Committee (FSVAC).
The programme addresses gender-based violence in the community and uses rugby league’s popularity to inform and empower players to be models in society and to say no to all forms of violence on and off the field.
