Ialibu district hospital needs ambulance badly

I WOULD like to bring to the attention of the Southern Highlands provincial government that the Ialibu district hospital needs an ambulance urgently.
The hospital’s only ambulance was completely damaged by Mendi High School students during a protest march at the provincial education office.
The hospital has been operating without an ambulance for almost four months.
Yet it is a referral health facility to more than 300,000 people in the eastern region of the province.
I am appealing to the provincial government to provide an ambulance as a matter of urgency.
In a bigger health facility, you cannot operate it without any vehicle.
I hope somebody realise the need and understand that health facilities cannot save lives without vehicles.
The district hospital’s funding is from the provincial government and not the Health Department like the provincial hospital which have complete financial autonomy.
