ICCC: Fuel prices lower

PRICES for petrol, diesel and kerosene in Port Moresby decreased by between 28 toea and 44 toea this month, according to the Independent Consumer and Competition Commission (ICCC).
Petrol price dropped by 44 toea to K3.39 – from K3.83 the previous month. Diesel went down by 33 toea to K3.31 from K3.64 last month. The price of kerosene decreased by 28 toea to K3.05 from K3.34 the previous month.
The ICCC said the decrease in retail price for the three petrol petroleum products was attributed to the decrease in the import parity prices this month.
