PEOPLE who are illegally residing on State land have been warned to vacate the land within one month.
Lands and Physical Planning secretary Benjamin Samson in a paid advertisement warned people illegally residing on State land throughout the country to immediately vacate the land and refrain from occupying or squatting on any State land.
“Any person who fails to observe this notice is hereby given one month from the date (Feb 19) of this notice to vacate and pull down illegal structures erected on the land,” Samson said
“Failure to do so will result in the use of appropriate and available means to deal with the persons concerned. “Provincial administrator, town councils, and municipal authorities are advised to take note and enforce this notice for compliance purposes.”
