Illegal to park on foot paths

I REFER to the front page story in The National on Friday about free parking in Port Moresby. There is an Act of Parliament called the Motor Traffic Regulation Act 1967. Sections 132, 137 and 138 would apply to parking, foot crossing and obstruction of traffic in Papua New Guinea. Port Moresby is not a separate from the rest of the country – it is part of PNG. Can Deputy City Manager Honk Kiap read this Act, which is available online.    http://www.paclii.org/pg/legis/consol_act/mtr1967244/. And even better than reading it  – please enforce it.
