Improve country’s minimum wage

Letters

WE need money to survive every day.
A person who works eight hours on weekdays at an hourly rate of K3.50 gets K400 every fortnight.
Think about the expenses.
Rent, food, transport, school fees and medical, water and electricity bills stresses everyone.
Apart from bills, there are other commitments that require money as well.
I am appealing to the Department of Labour and Industrial Relations to review the Minimum Wage Act and set the minimum wage at a specific and reasonable rate that will help us live decent lives.
