Improve performance of schools in province

Letters

THE education division in Eastern Highlands has a writing on their vehicles that reads “Quality education for all”.
I have been monitoring grade 10 and 12 results and I notice that the performance of our grade 10s and 12s in Eastern Highlands schools has not improved.
Five consecutive years on and not a single school has made it into the top 10.
If secondary schools such as Oksapmin, Kundiawa Lutheran Day High School, Paglum Secondary and Mt Hagen Secondary schools are listed among the top 10 performing schools, education authorities in Eastern Highlands need to step up.
Something is wrong somewhere and needs to be corrected.
Back then, schools such as Goroka High, Asaroka, Kabiufa and Aiyura were top performing schools.
Where have we gone wrong?
Our schools in the province are not doing better anymore.
Education in Eastern Highlands needs to improve.
None of our schools are in the top 10.
There is no quality education in the province.
