WHEN will the National Capital District Commission do something about the poor public transport system in Port Moresby.
The city’s main roads are ruled by careless PMV drivers who stop wherever they wish to.
Some bus stops are too small to cater for the increasing number of buses.
I am certain that the commission is aware of this and is planning something to address it, but when can we see an improvement?
Some drivers and crews smoke in the bus, which is against the law.
Most buses are overloaded, which is against the law as well.
City residents deserve a better transport system.
