Improve safety standards for goods

Letters

I AM concerned about product safety standards in Papua New Guinea.
Most imported goods that are consumed by people are counterfeit and semi-processed.
Most of them affect our health.
Other countries such as Australia and New Zealand have banned goods such as mercury batteries, which causes little children to get sick or die.
Their governments are using new laws of product safety standards.
The Foreign Affairs minister should be careful when dealing with trade.
