In court for touching

 A MAN appeared in the National Court, in Kokopo, last Thursday charged with sexually touching a nine-year-old girl.
Steven Fred, from Ragiumpun,  Markham district, Morobe, was charged with two counts last year.
He was charged with touching the breasts of the young girl with his mouth and with sexual intercourse.
The court heard that Fred, in his 20s, was a security guard in Kokopo at the time of the offence.
He denied the two counts during his mention and went on trial last week.
