Independence eve meeting for snooker
The National, Thursday September 10th, 2015
A special general meeting of the Papua New Guinea Billiards and Snooker Association will be held next week to discuss its constitution.
PNGBSA vice-president John Chan said all affiliates of the PNGBSA needed to attend the meeting scheduled for Tuesday, Sept 15, at 5pm at the Q club.
“I urge every player, men and women including those coming in from the provinces for the BSP Men’s National snooker titles to attend this special general meeting and adopt the constitution.
“This will be a memorable occasion when everyone attends to discuss and pass the PNGBSA constitution on the eve of Independence,” Chan said.
Chan said PNGBSA was a member of the Oceania and International Billiards and Snooker Federations and the adoption of the constitution was in line to meet requirements of these bodies.
