India willing to share film expertise

 THE PNG film industry can benefit from the expertise of Indian professionals.

The Indian High Commissioner to Papua New Guinea Dr AM Gondane inaugurated the India Film festival at the University of Papua New Guinea’s Waigani campus in Port Moresby recently.

He said India was always ready to share its expertise and experience.  

The High Commission of India and UPNG organised a festival of the latest Indian movies from last Friday. It will go on until today.

He said the film industry had turned  100 years and produced innumerable films on various subjects, themes and topics.  

Gondane said the PNG film industry could benefit from the expertise of Indian professionals in the industry and India was always ready to share its expertise and experience.

Films to be screened include Three Idiots, Lagaan, Jodha Akhbar, Omkaara, Sholay and Zindagi Na Milegi Dobara.
