Injury ruled Pora out of four nations

THIS is a reply to a frustrated Kumul supporter who wanted to know why Rodney Pora was not fielded in the Four Nations tournament.
Pora, while playing in the bemobile Cup preliminary final in Lae for the Gurias against the Lahanis, sustained a knee injury.
While camping in Ipswich, he struggled to complete his training sessions.
A MRI scan in Parramatta a week later revealed an acute tear in his knee.
The team management was advised to rule him out of the tournament.
The Kumuls’ medical team tried its best to help him but the extent of the injury needed extended period to fully recover.
Coach Stanley Gene does not need to answer this question.
