Integrity in league

Letters

I AM dismayed to read that Gary Lo is being allowed to play in PNG National Rugby Football League-sanctioned games by the sport’s administrators.
What the administrators are doing is painting a bad image of the sport in the country at all levels.
How can we convince the Australian NRL integrity body to get a team into the NRL if we are playing and practising double standards and allowing players who had been disciplined elsewhere to play in our country?
While Lo deserves to play, I believe this is not a case of being innocent until proven guilty but about the sport’s integrity which the administrators should protect at all costs if we are serious about getting a team into the NRL.
