THE Tambul High School in Western Highlands now has access to internet, facsimile and phones following the installation of a Very Small Aperture Terminal (VSAT) dish.

The VSAT dish was installed through the public private partnership programme. It will access multi-channel television.

Tambul community leader John Wani said it was a big change for the school and attributed it to the good management of principal, James Pini.

“I commend Pini for the hard work he has been doing. We now have a new clinic built by the school, the road and other major services,” Wani said.

“All we have to do is look after them.”

Pini said he wanted to see infrastructure development taking place.

He said the school, located in the Tambul-Nebliyer electorate, was one of the best in the province.

“We have four new duplex houses being built and the clinic. I still have more plans for the school,” he said.

Pini said he wanted to create the best learning environment for students.
