Internet services in PNG an expensive affair

Many people have complained that internet services in PNG are expensive.
While Digicel’s entry into PNG has had a positive impact in mobile telecommunication, it is not keen to make an impact in the internet sector.
As a telecommunications company, Digicel should also be providing internet services at a competitive price.
Digicel advertises that it has the bigger and better network.
Why is it useless in the internet area?
Is it because its network is not really big enough ?
I was told the Digicel’s internet service is slow.
There are many ISPs providing internet services in PNG.
Despite that, internet prices are still very expensive.
What kind of competition “are we talking about to bring down prices?”
