Introducing new course

THE Kavieng development authority will introduce basic accounting and retail store training to women from next year, says chairman Ian Ling-Stuckey. Ling-Stuckey, on Friday, handed out cheques totalling K120,000 to the women groups in the Tikana local level government. It will start after the 2022 general election. Ling-Stuckey also handed out cheques totaling K20,000 for the establishment of cocoa nurseries in two wards. “Women in Kavieng receive more funding to assist them in building village-based income streams,” he said.
