‘Invest in children’s future’

CHILDREN are the future and investing in them to become productive citizens in future is crucial, Parliament Speaker and Finschhafen MP Theodore Zurenuoc says.
Zurenuoc said this during the opening of a four-in-one double classroom for Satneng Primary School in his electorate last week.
He also witnessed the opening of teacher’s houses at Satneng Elementary School, a double classroom at Davilo Elementary School, Bu aid post and staff accommodation at Mindik sub–health centre in Burum-Kuat area.
“It is appropriate that health and education are provided in well-sheltered facilities for rural population to access while the support mechanisms from education and health divisions have to maintain their obligations and functions in the long run,” Zurenuoc said.
