Investigate delay

THE police minister should commission an investigation into the delay of the Yangoru mobile police barracks.
There has been escalating crimes committed along the Sepik Highway recently.
The ground breaking of the project took place some four years ago and there was no report on the completion and commissioning of the barracks.
It would be interesting to find out from the contractor, local member and departments of commerce and industry and finance on the whereabouts of the K20 million parked at the trust account of the Sepik special economic zone project at the end of 2017 to cover the construction according to scope as approved by the then Central Supply Tenders Board .
