Investigate teachers’ pay

CHANGES in teacher’s salary after pay 21 needs clarification.
The decrease in deduction in the income tax and others would have resulted in an increase in the yearly gross salary and fortnight net salary but this did not eventuate.
So where are monies taken out gone to?
The manipulation of figures in teachers’ salaries is very serious and should be investigated by appropriate authorities.
The system paying and looking after teachers are playing trickery with the very public servants they’re supposed to be looking after and care for.
Teaching Service Commission must come out and tell the truth.
Why covering up the wrongs done.
The pay slips have spoken something else and you twos are telling teachers another thing.
So who will teachers trust?
It is very confusing to see changes in a fortnight salary with confirmation shown in the pay slip.
But seeing the same yearly gross salary and net salary maintaining the same amount.
Teachers need to be told the truth on what’s been happening to their hard earned money.
And a reminder for TSC and Education Department to fix 2019 teachers 3 per cent outstanding allowance immediately as stipulated in the agreement.
In case they forgot to action the agreement they have signed with PNGTA on behalf of the teachers.
