Ipatas Cup grand final on this weekend in Lae

THE Cocoa Cola Ipatas Cup grand final match will be held on Sunday in Lae, games commissioner Mal Taime said.
Taime said 12 teams have been qualified to compete starting on Friday and the two winners of Friday and Saturday will compete to become the champion of the Cocoa Cola Ipatas Cup (CCIC) rugby league challenge.
The 12 teams have been divided into two categories the western and the eastern end.
The western end comprising of teams in the highlands and they are A1 Brothers (Enga), Akap Knights (Enga), Mt Giluwe Tigers (SHP), Strickland Koroba – Kopiago Raiders (Hela), Kui Raiders (WHP), KK Hawks (Jiwaka), Sine Yango Bothers (Chimbu) and JBH Brumbies (EHP).  
The eastern end are teams from the coastal and they are Bumbu Barbarians (Morobe), Kamkumu Brasses (Morobe), Six Mile Storm (Port Moresby) and Laigaip Brothers (Port Moresby).
New Guinea Island did not take part in this competition.
Kamkumu Brasses (Morobe) and Sine Yango Brothers (Chimbu) have been the champions and are no doubt that can make it through with their experience.
