Letters

ORDINARY citizens are prosecuted within a day and killed or sent to prison while corrupt politicians, bureaucrats and rogue police officers are moving around freely.
Are there separate sets of laws in Papua New Guinea for the different classes of people?
According the Constitution, the law applies to everyone.
The police have to enforce these laws and exercise their duties within their jurisdictions.
Some officers are seen performing duties outside of their jurisdictions.
The investigations on the issues created by ill-disciplined officers take time or years, which is absolutely unfair.
This results in many people losing police brutality cases.
PNG is becoming a police state.
Where is justice?
What happened to human rights?
Where is freedom?
Welcome to the world of anarchy.
