THE Gulf Isapea yesterday announced their team for this year’s Digicel Cup competition. 

Isapea board chairman, Jacob Ivaroa did the honours at a media conference at the Car Club in Port Moresby. 

Ivaroa also confirmed that the Sir William Skate oval at Kaugere will be their new home ground after negotiations to complete an assigned field in Malalaua failed.

Sun Engineering has been contracted to build the toilets, showers and changing room with full blessings from the Sports and Event Minister and Member for Moresby South, Justin Tkatchenko at the Isapea home ground.

 Ivaroa assured supporters that the Isapea team will be better this year.

Patron is Gulf Governor Havila Kavo with official Dignitaries being Member for Kikori Open, Mark Maipakai and Richard Mendani, Member for Kerema Open.

CIVPAC CEO, Dixie Pombe was on hand to present a K100,000 cheque to the Isapea management yesterday. 

 

Training will begin at Kaugere oval number 2 on  February 25.
