Isifu appoints Hondomo as interim deputy chair of special purpose authority

DEPUTY chairman of Angore Special Purpose Authority Tobias Hondomo has been appointed as interim chairman by Minister for Inter-Governmental Relations Kevin Isifu.
Hondmo was appointed chairman following the death of Peter Wagima last month.
“This is critical to ensure stability in the authority to better serve the interest of Angore people,” he said.
“I commend the minister as well as fellow board members and Angore people for their confidence in me.”
Hondomo called on Hela leaders to support and work with his board to better serve the interests of Angore people and the province.
“We will take the lead in addressing ongoing issues with our people in the project impact areas,” he said.
Chairman of Angore-Tindiapa Landowners Association Malex Au commended Hondomo on his appointment.
He said the appointment was necessary to maintain stability in the authority board until the election in April.
