Isou looking to improve against Mioks in round 4

GULF Isou are focused on improving their attack in their round-four game against Enga Mioks as they aim to continue their perfect Digicel Cup start.
Isou coach Roger Laka told The National yesterday that his men were expecting Sunday’s Santos National Football Stadium clash to be physical.
“We have been focusing more on recovery during the week, knowing the game against the Mioks will be physical,” he said.
“Part of our preparations for this game have been focused on our attack.
“Our three-straight wins came from strong defence, but it is our attack that needs improvement.
“Hopefully, we can take the right attacking options against the Mioks.
“Our plays have so far been rusty, we aren’t picking the right options.
“Our backline hasn’t sparked yet.
“Hopefully, we can find that spark this week.”
Laka will maintain the same side that beat Goroka Lahanis 0-6 last Sunday. David Joseph and Joel Tapie are expected to partner in the halves with former SP Hunters utility Jerry Teme coming in off the bench. Isou are sitting second behind ladder-leading reigning champions Lae Tigers on the 12-team competition ladder. The Tigers have also recorded three-straight wins. In the other fixtures, Mt Hagen Eagles and Waghi Tumbe will host Kimbe Cutters and Port Moresby Vipers respectively in a Minj double-header while Goroka Lahanis will host Central Dabaris at the Sir Danny Leahy Oval. Hela Wigmen will face Mendi Muruks at the Santos National Football Stadium.
