It’s time to reveal the worms

I REFER to the report “Civil servant queries missing K7 million” (The National, May 18).
I believe senior public servants in Eastern Highlands should come out and reveal the hidden worms eating up the province’s funds.
The delivery of basic services to the rural population has been very slow.
We have deteriorating road, bridges, and health and school infrastructures.
I appeal to those in authority to come out openly and reveal the truth.
They are the ones who are aware of what is happening behind closed doors of the Yanepa provincial government building.
I also appeal for the monitoring agencies to look into this matter and prosecute whoever is implicated.
Any money misappropriated should be recouped to be spent on the benefit of the people.
