MORESBY West Jokers qualified for the PNG Men’s Basketball League A grade grand final on Sunday.

At the Sir John Guise Indoor Complex the Westside boys trumped the Tamaraws 87-75 in game two.

Jokers will now meet minor premiers Exodus in the grand final tomorrow.

This will be the first minor division final as last season the final was aborted because of spectator violence.

In the Under-20 division, Chariots walked into the grand final against the Saints after Tamaraws failed to field a team.

PMBL commissioner Larry Miro Junior said 30 minutes was given to Tamaraws to turn up before the match was awarded to the Chariots.

In the U15 grade, Chariots made it one up against Tamaraws 54-49 in game two with the decider yet to be confirmed by Miro Junior.

In an email, he said the finals maybe played as one-off games.

The premier presentation was not staged after the grand final between Exodus and Tamaraws and there is no word on the latest presentations.
