Journalism graduate proud of her journey, says time to shine

Education

SHARON Engnui from Western Highlands, 26, was proud of her achievements when she graduated last week with bachelor in arts, major in journalism and public relations and minor in English.
“I’m really excited and happy, all my struggles had been paid off, today is the day that I shine regardless of all the challengers I faced and I’m proud of myself.”
She said it was through her parent’s hard work that brought her that far.
“We the young people always turn to forget and roam around on our own but after all, it’s through our parent’s prayers that brought us forward each and every day and I ended up successfully. I’m thankful for them.”
Engnui is the last born in a family of five.
“One thing that motivates me throughout my studies is the content of what I have in front of me, I never ask for more,” she said.
“It’s a message to every young girls out there, when you don’t ask for more, you are safe and happy, when you want more, you will get into trouble.”
