A JUDGE yesterday upheld a guilty plea made by a man accused of willfully murdering a public servant in Lae four years ago.

Justice Sao Gabi found Chris Maragau, 34, from Kiaruvu, in Yangoru, East Sepik, guilty of the crime following his plea.

Maragau had on Wednesday pleaded guilty to stabbing a George Naemon twice on his neck, resulting in his death.

Gabi adjourned the matter to May 5.

Two other co-accused in the case Maragau and Tovo Isido Maragau will reappear on May 18 for a trial.
