Juffa speaks out

NEVER in the past few months have I seen an MP in the government benches speaking out against the moves of the current government but Garry Juffa has finally broken that silence.

He has been outspoken since he got into office and his concern when the PM is bulldozing bills and agreements which are of national interest without proper debates is welcomed by the people.

While MPs are quiet and scared to speak out, he made the right decision to speak out representing the views of us, the silent majority.

This country is not owned or dictated by any individual and no MP either in the Opposition or Government should be afraid of speaking out.

There may be other good MPs too, who are scared of speaking out because they may miss out on Government funding, but it is time for all MPs to get together and ask that the PM  be fair when dealing  with issues of national interest.

Finally, I am sad to see our good MPs being scared to stand their ground, speak out and oppose any bad decisions by the government because the PM is powerful and can stop them from receiving their funds if they speak against him.

Once the final readings for the recent amendments are passed, the PM will be the most powerful man.

Only God knows where we are heading to now.
