Junior duo set for Oceania squash tourney in Queensland

The Papua New Guinea squash team’s preparations for the 2015 Games has kicked off to an early start this year with its train-on squad already in training and the junior members of the team registered early for an overseas tournament.
Two elite squash players, Lynette Vai and fellow junior male athlete, Robin Morove will take part in the Oceania Junior Squash championship on the Gold Coast, Queensland, Australia next week from January 18-21.
Their participation will enable both athletes to participate at a high level competition among their own peers.
The Oceania Junior Squash tournament also forms part of WSF World Junior Circuit, both players have a real challenge on their hands by entering the under-19 age group events in order to push for world ranking points.
Other members of the preliminary squad announced by the PNG Squash Federation for the 2015 Games are for men; Madako Suari Jr, Moreaina Wei, Kerry Walsh, Schubert Maketu, Daryl Sirigoi and Robin Morove; Ladies; Lynette Vai, Dorothy Boyce, Elly Webb, Sheila Morove, Kristine Seko and Bridgette Matrus.
