K1.5mil allocated for water project

THE Autonomous Bougainville Government (ABG) has committed K1.5 million for a bottled water project which is expected to start production in April.
Bougainville President Ishmael Toroama made the commitment at the launching of the Bougainville Water Bottling Ltd at Toniva, North Nasioi, Central Bougainville, recently.
Toroama said Bougainville’s political progress encouraged other development sectors, especially the economic sector, to be on par with it.
He assured those present at the launching that his government would continue to make headway in all sectors of development with its primary focus on generating more internal revenue for Bougainville.
