DREAM Inn continued its support for the Kongo Coffee Simbu Warriors with a K50,000 sponsorship last Saturday.
Dream Inn general manager Henning Engstrup presented the mock cheque for K50,000 witnessed by the Warriors players, board and a few supporters who were in Port Moresby for the Digicel Cup match between the Warriors and the Vipers.
“This is an ongoing support Dream Inn has given to the Warriors and we are proud to be associated with the provincial team,” Engstrup said.
Engstrup added it was good to have a team representing the province and urged the players that they could play at the highest level in the Australian rugby league competition.
The community leaders thanked the board and the players for the success of the Warriors who had made the comeback to the inter-city rugby league competition.
“To the chairman of the Warriors, Jerry Kapka we thank you and your brother Wera Mori who have always been at the forefront of the team and to bring them this far,” the leaders said.
Dream Inn had also supported the Warriors last season by donating some sporting gear  (gymnasium set) for the players’ use during training sessions.
“The gym has made a lot of impact on the players. The K50,000 is a lot of money and we thank Dream Inn for their continuous support,” Kapka said.
“Words cannot express how grateful we are. To the management and staff we  thank you for your support.”
Dream Inn is owned by a lawyer from Chimbu, Kerenge Kua.
