MINISTER for Sports and 2015 Pacific Games Justin Tkatchenko is pleased with the commitment and support given by business houses.

Tkatchenko made the comment after PMMI announced its K500,000 sponsorship on Tuesday for the 2015 Pacific Games,

The sponsorship package covers cash, kind and service and insurance cover for all national athletes.

“We devote much of our lives, sometimes our professions to becoming better players and spectators,” PMMI managing director Wayne Dorgan said.

“The 2015 Games will be a turning point, which will further promote a healthy competition and strong sporting values within PNG. 

“It is the way we compete in sports that will say a lot about ourselves, our nation, our people and our direction,” Dorgan said.

Tkatchenko thanked the company for becoming silver sponsors of the Games.

“It is a wonderful gesture from Pacific MMI, through this sponsorship, we all can see how committed the business houses are in making the Games a successful event,” Tkatchenko said.
