 THE Department of Treasury has allocated K67, 040, 192 to provinces to cover public service delivery. 

National Economic and Fiscal Commission chief executive officer Hohora Suve said it was to assist provinces and local level governments deliver basic service obligations. 

The allocation is about 17% of the total appropriation of K406,065,300 for goods and services grants including village court allowances. 

“The purpose of the goods and services grant is to assist provinces meet the cost of key service delivery activities in sectors of health, education, transport infrastructure, primary production and village courts operations,” he said.
