Kainantu election

DURING last year’s general election, the people of Kainantu spoke through the ballot and chose their leader.
Current MP and Mining Minister Johnson Tuke was declared winner ahead of William Hagauno.
The runner-up decided to challenge the win through a court petition and the court found the petition lacking in substance (facts) and dismissed it.
Now that the case is over, the people look forward to some gains from the district purse through service delivery.
