RECENTLY, a man was killed  (had  his throat cut) at Kassam Pass by an unknown person and his body was left on the road.
A generous man took the body to the Kainantu Rural Hospital, but the morgue was not in operation; it has not been for a long time.
As a life-saving facility and  in the heart of the country, the Kainantu  hospital needs major improvement and renovation.
As a Kanantuan, I feel that the MP and the governor  should  look at prioritising some money to renovate and raise the standard of our hospital.
My suggestion is to renovate the buildings, replace all the old facilities, connect proper water supply to the hospital, fix the morgue, repair staff houses and employ additional staff.
