A RUNNER-UP candidate in the Kombiu local level government president’s seat in Rabaul district has urged unsuccessful candidates not to lose sight of their vision.
Harold Kalava, who came second to re-elected president Komit Kunai yesterday said: “Although we lost in numbers, we must still remember our visions, hold them at heart and share with our president-elect for the benefit of our people.
“I would like to congratulate Kunai for his win. It was a tough race for me as a young candidate but it was also a new experience.”
Kalava thanked his supporters and said he had made a commitment to support Kunai if he (Kunai) was willing to work with him.
