Kapka’s comments distasteful

 I FIND the comments by Kongo Coffee Simbu Warriors’ franchise owner Jerry Kapka distasteful (The National, Aug 3). 

If the fans were well be­haved, why were stones, empty beer bottles and other missiles being thrown at the Lahanis players? 

Lahanis manager Joe Isaro was verbally abused and came close to being assaulted at the grand stand but Kapka, who was barely a metre away, did nothing.

Warriors’ new coach Stanley Gene was just as abusive and he was seen making offensive gestures at Lahanis supporters.

I call on the PNGRFL to ban all matches at Kundiawa and put Warriors on notice.
