Kavo heaps praise on LNG developer

GULF Governor Havila Kavo has congratulated ExxonMobil on the arrival of the first LNG pipes.
Kavo said ExxonMobil had made a lot of progress with the project.
He said his province held potential pockets of untapped gas fields that were yet to be explored, and invited ExxonMobil to link up with his provincial government and InterOil and other developers exploring or developing gas fields in Gulf.
InterOil plans to develop the Elk/Antelope gas reservoir with other partners.
“Our offer is very genuine and we will no doubt help ExxonMobil save billions of dollars even with the proposed land area that is designated for all our LNG developments,” Kavo said.
