MAX Kende yesterday drove off in a new Nissan twin cab utility – part of a K250, 000 package of goods he won in a Christmas promotion.
Kende won the Courts Accumulator Three promotion which was run last year. He won a total of 10 prizes – one of which was the new vehicle.
He and his wife took delivery of the vehicle from Boroko Motors.
Kende works with the High Artic Energy services in Kutubu, Southern Highlands. He won the K250,000 worth of goods after spending K3,000 on a two-door refrigerator.
“I am really excited to drive off in my new car,” he said.
“It is a burden off my shoulders as it is always a struggle pushing and
shoving to get onto a PMV bus every day.”
He was also entitled to goods from Carpenters Estates and Globe and mobile phones from Fone Haus.
Courts marketing and advertising assistant Morie Arivu said the other six prizes would be presentd to Kende at a later date.
