Kimbe mayor retains seat

JACKSON Endo has retained the Kimbe town mayor’s seat in the local level government elections.
Kimbe urban LLG assistant returning officer Roland Paponurea said yesterday Endo polled 1,361 votes to retain the seat.
He said a female councillor was among seven new councilllors declared for the eight council seats in Kimbe urban LLG.
Milika Kautu was declared for Malwara ward 3.
