Kina loses vs US unit

THE kina continues to depreciate against the US dollar in the interbank market.
Last week, it declined by 0.3% on the back of strong import still.
ANZ in its Weekly Update said that the Central Bank provided some support and expectations were that the kina-US dollar play will find bottom soon was still on the cards.
It said local currency crosses continued to remain weak relatively.
Late last week, the Aussie-US dollar traded above the US$0.90 (K2.50) levels.
