NATIONAL Airports Corporation (NAC) managing director Joseph Kintau says he has not been suspended from the job.
“I am still here as MD. I will notify you if I get my suspension letter,” he said in an email to The National last night.
Kintau’s office had confirmed earlier yesterday that he was still managing director of the corporation.
The Prime Minister’s Office said the NAC board had made a final decision on the managing director’s position but did not elaborate.
Civil Aviation Minister Davis Steven, when announcing a new NAC board on Sunday, stopped short of naming a new board chairman and confirming that Kintau had been suspended.
He declined to confirm or deny whether Kintau was suspended.
