STUDENTS have been encouraged to know God in their heart, mind and spirit in order to be successful, General Superintendent of Assemblies of God Reverend Joe Pandu says.

Pandu was the guest speaker at the dedication service of the Jubilee Institute of Higher Learning last Thursday.

Basing  his sermon on 1 Chronicles 28:9 -10  he said, David told his son, Solomon, to Know God  in order to be successful in building the temple, you as students must know the Lord in order to be successful in your education.

Making reference to David’s teaching to Solomon he urged students to devote their life to god with willing mind as God only searches every heart and understands every motive behind the thought.

“If you seek him he will be found but if you forsake him he will reject you.”

He said like every other church run institution, Jubilee is also guided by the Assemblies of God doctrines which draws people to be close God and know him more.

“Knowing God will help you build the credibility in your education – you got to know God and you will be successful.”
