Koboni looking for revenge against Dockers

CONCEPT Koboni will be aiming to exact revenge on the Dockers in tomorrow’s Port Moresby Esi Loan AFL clash at the Colts Oval.
The Demons lost 66-70 to the Dockers in their round-two encounter with former Bomana Cats star Luke Savere Jr nailing three goals to help the waterfront men avenge their grand-final loss last year.
Maritime West Eagles lead the ladder on 32 points followed by the Dockers (28) and Koboni (20).
The reigning champions’ progress up the ladder posed a genuine threat to the Dockers and West.
Both teams are equally matched in skills, experience and talent to bring the game down to the wire but the Demons with superior fitness are expected to have the last laugh.
In another entertaining match on Sunday, the Sun City Cats take on West while Gereka Bombers face the Gerehu Magpies.
In the women’s matches tomorrow, a vastly improved Concept Koboni outfit should upset the Gordon Kokofas and a well-drilled Dockers side should ease past North Waigani Royals Tigers.
