KOBONI will look at the ever green Rex Leka to lead them against a formidable opponent in Gordons in Port Moresby senior AFL tomorrow.
Gordons proved their worth taking apart Bomana Power convincingly last week in a dominant display.
Former Koboni ball winner Lai Lai Ila will be part of a tough Gordon midfield partnered by the silky Joe Ila and hard working Peter Milaura.
Koboni will need to step up in its second outing for the year to bring some pride back to the champion club.
In the other match, a young Defence side take on a well rested Boroko club after the bye last week.
After a long while out the Boroko club will look to use the rest to notch their first points.
Both clubs bring fresh faces to the game and both show real enthusiasm and passion.
Both clubs will be looking to register first points with a win this weekend.
The main match of the afternoon will be between Power and the Uni Tigers.
Bomana caught off guard last week, could not match the big game of Gordons.
Trailing in all three changes last week against the Gordons, Power could not muster enough drive to stop the rampaging  team.
With the inclusion of some reliable  speedsters  missing last week due to the AFL Queensland U16 championships in Brisbane, a re-energised Power will look to bring back some lost pride against Tigers.
Dockers will see the bye and assist to officiate at the grounds after a convincing display against Koboni last week.
AFL Port Moresby is certainly charging ahead with a new and rejuvenated image in this year with some great football being played by the next generation of footballers.
