Koboni up to no good in city AFL

 KOBONI will be up to no good this weekend when they face wounded Gordons Kokofas in Saturday’s Esi-loan AFL seniors main game.

The lizards reeling from a fiery showdown against the University Tigers last week will be slithering for a sneaky win this weekend.

This match is expected to be fast flowing and tough game. 

Koboni are on top of the ladder with 24 points and they will not be easy beats. 

Kokofas fourth on 20 points are coming of a loss from last weekend and will want to get back in the winning circle.

Koboni’s Amua Pirika, Lailai Ila, Chrijen Amona, Max Lavai, Paul Philip, Brendon Beno, Harold Kali, Henry Henry, Lai Vagi, Allan and Francis Brown will be out to impress their new sponsors while Kokofa will be banking on John Vincent, Archie Mai, Una Yogomin, Neil Malabag, John Isu, and David Yogomin.

In Sunday’s main derby, Taurama Suns take on defence Hawks. 

Suns are running second on the ladder and Hawks fifth. 

Suns’ Jeffery Namete and Chris Mong continue are in great form, with Namete patrolling the park and Mong nailing goals at will, both men handle pressure well. 

In the other senior match on Saturday, Gulf Giants face Dockers.
